300 g milk
100 g sugar
1 packet vanilla sugar
80 g butter
20 g oil
2 eggs
½ cube yeast
550 g flour
1 tablespoon granulated sugar

First, mix the milk, sugar, vanilla sugar, butter, oil and egg and heat over low heat.
Dissolve the yeast in the milk, add the flour and knead the dough, adding a little more flour if necessary, until the dough is no longer sticky.
Then, divide the dough into three equal parts and braid it. It is best to braid from the center towards both ends, this will give a nice, even braid. Let it rise for about 45 minutes at 50°C (122°F).
Now beat the second egg, brush the braid with a brush and sprinkle with granulated sugar. Bake at 190°C (350°F) for 22-25 minutes.
You can also use the dough for small pastries. Enjoy
