🛒Ingredients (4 servings)
4 medium zucchini
250 gr. mozzarella (well drained)
80 gr. grated parmesan
200 ml light béchamel sauce (homemade or store-bought)
Extra virgin olive oil to taste
Grill lightly for a more intense flavor and less moisture.
Or use raw for a softer, creamier parmesan.
2. Drain the mozzarella and prepare the béchamel sauce.
Cut the mozzarella into slices or cubes and drain well so that it does not release water during cooking.
To prepare the homemade béchamel sauce:
Melt 20 g butter
Add 20 g flour
Pour in 200 ml hot milk, stirring constantly.
Season with salt and add a pinch of nutmeg.
3. Add the parmesan
Grease the bottom of an ovenproof dish with a little olive oil and then layer:
Zucchini
Mozzarella
A few spoons of béchamel sauce
grated parmesan
Repeat until you have used up all the ingredients. Finally, add the béchamel sauce, the parmesan and—if you like—some breadcrumbs for a golden, crispy top.
4. Bake Bake
at 180°C (350°F) in a conventional oven for 30-35 minutes, until the top is golden brown and golden brown.
