One-Pot Asian Garlic Noodles
Savory Garlic Noodles with a Touch of Asian Flair
Ingredients:
8 ounces spaghetti or linguine
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
6 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
Sesame seeds for garnish
Directions:
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti or linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of the pasta water.
In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant but not browned.
Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix well and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Add the cooked noodles back into the pot along with the reserved pasta water. Toss everything together until the noodles are well coated in the sauce.
Remove from heat and stir in the chopped green onions and cilantro. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds.
