Maple Bacon Cheeseburger Quesadillas
Ingredients (4 servings):
1 lb ground beef
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Salt & pepper, to taste
8 slices bacon
2 tbsp pure maple syrup
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or American cheese slices, chopped)
4 large flour tortillas
2 tbsp mayo (optional, for spread)
1 tbsp ketchup (optional, for spread)
1 tbsp mustard (optional, for spread)
2 tbsp butter (for pan)
Instructions:
1. Cook the bacon
In a skillet, fry bacon until crisp.
Drain on paper towels, then drizzle and toss with maple syrup. Set aside.
2. Cook the beef
In the same skillet, cook ground beef until browned.
Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Drain excess grease.
3. Prepare the tortillas
Mix mayo, ketchup, and mustard (optional sauce). Spread lightly on each tortilla.
4. Assemble quesadillas
On half of each tortilla:
Add some cheese.
Spoon over ground beef.
Crumble maple bacon on top.
Add more cheese.
Fold tortilla in half.
5. Cook quesadillas
Heat butter in a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
Cook quesadillas 2–3 minutes per side until golden and cheese is melted.
6. Serve
Slice into wedges.
